Fools Magazine
PRINT IS NOT DEAD
Fools Magazine is a bi-annual undergraduate arts & culture publication based in Iowa City, Iowa. Fools was founded in 2016 by a group of hungry creatives on the University of Iowa campus. Since its inception, Fools has published ten volumes with over 2,500 copies in circulation and a thriving web presence on foolsmag.com.
More than anything, Fools has been the work of over hundreds of student artists, writers, and editors who have pushed boundaries time and time again. The interdisciplinary work produced at Fools has changed the literary landscape of Iowa City & properly cultivated the talent hiding in this creative hotbed.
I was fortunate enough to be a creator, photo editor, and creative director for the organization. My mission in each of role was the same: to curate an honest narrative of our little sector of the universe.
